WARMING UP. Divers get in some pre-competition practice yesterday afternoon in the Alumni Arena Natatorium in preparation for the Empire State Games, which began last night with the opening ceremony in UB Stadium. The games, which will run through Sunday, are being held at various sites throughout Western New York.
