UUP meeting and boat ride scheduled
The Buffalo Center Chapter of United University Professions, the union representing UB faculty and professional staff, will hold its fall membership meeting Sept. 13 on a Miss Buffalo II cruise.
Boarding at the Erie Basin Marina, 79 Marine Drive, Buffalo, will begin at 5:30 p.m., with the boat ride taking place from 6-8 p.m. A deluxe buffet will be served; a cash bar will be available.
The cost for dinner and the cruise is free for UUP Buffalo Center members; members can bring one guest at a cost of $20.
Space is limited; those interested in attending should make their reservations by Aug. 30 by contacting Chris Black at 645-2013 or cmblack@buffalo.edu.
