Word of Mouth

What’s your new year’s resolution for 2010?

  • My new year’s resolution is to be more patient and to enjoy my family, friends and life. I would hope people realize that they should cherish what they have while it is available, bad times don’t last always, appreciate the little things, the best things in life are free (family, friends and time) and life is an adventure, not a destination. Keep pushing yourself.

  • I don’t mean to be super-philosophical, but I don’t really plan ahead in my personal life. The reason is this: On some level, setting goals forces a person to live—somewhat—in the future. You’re always thinking about where you want to be, not where you are now. This isn’t true of everyone, but it’s true of me. So I prefer to live as fully as I can in the present, thinking about today, seeing what comes and dealing with it as it does.

  • I hope to generate a stem cell model of Parkinson’s disease.

This year I plan to read more and try new recipes. One week into the new year and so far so good, half way through a book and made a great lasagna recipe!
