Christopher Hollister, information literacy librarian, Arts & Sciences Libraries, will be honored this weekend at the American Library Association’s annual conference in Chicago. Hollister and Stewart Brower, former associate librarian in the UB Health Sciences Library who is now director of the Schusterman Center Library at the University of Oklahoma-Tulsa, will receive a special certificate of recognition during a meeting of the Instruction Section of the Association of College and Research Libraries for the creation and editorship of the journal Communications in Information Literacy. The first digital, open-access, peer-reviewed journal devoted entirely to information literacy, Communications in Information Literacy debuted in 2007 and has now completed its second volume.
