  • I liked the historical and somewhat formal flavor and locust trees of the quadrangle between Harriman, Squire and Foster on the South Campus. But alas, they are about to dig it all up. Something to do with sewers...

  • I always enjoy taking a walk in Letchworth Woods on the North Campus. It’s a hidden gem at UB and it’s home to some very impressive trees and plant life. It’s easy to forget that you are still at UB when you are in the middle of this beautiful forest!

  • I really enjoy the Crofts Hall patio, especially at lunchtime. The garden is very nice and quiet, and you often see small animals wandering around.

My favorite places on campus are the fitness centers at the Richmond Complex and the Sports Arena. .....It is so nice when the weather is very warm. The complexes are temperate and encourage a good workout.

Harriman Quad is a great place, indeed. But we're not going to just "dig it up" and it is about much more than sewers. Rather, this historic South Campus quad will be redeveloped as a model of what sustainable landscaping can be on our campuses. You can see an illustration and explanation of what is planned at the link below.
