Word of Mouth

Where is the easiest place to park on campus? Where are you nearly guaranteed a spot?

The faculty/staff lot for Park Hall. If all spots are taken, I can usually find a spot at one of the meters toward the front of the lot.

I think residents of the South Campus have it easier. I get a close spot every day. We have a staff row right by Allen Hall and 95 percent of the time you can get a space there. If not, the Main-Bailey lot is big and always has parking available. When I have to travel between the campuses, I take the Stampede a lot. That way I don’t even have to think about parking and you are always guaranteed a seat. It’s so convenient and a nice little walk outdoors to the stop.

I find it depends on the time of day. If you arrive before 9 a.m., most parking lots are accessible. The Park and Ride Lot near the Center for Tomorrow always seems to have spots.
