Weather-closing information
Faculty, staff and students looking for information about the university’s office hours and class schedules during inclement weather can call 645-NEWS or sign up to receive a text message sent to their cell phone and/or an email account.
The telephone line will be available 24 hours a day. There never will be a busy signal since the line has the capacity to handle an unlimited number of calls simultaneously.
The recorded message will be updated and a text messaging alert will be issued as soon as university officials decide to alter office hours and class schedules due to weather conditions or other situations.
