"Word and Meaning: Five Contemporary Chinese Artists"

Works by Xu Bing, Tsong Pu, Gu Wenda, Zhang Hongtu, Zhou Changjiang and Shengtian Zheng are on display through June 30 in all galleries of the UB Art Gallery in the Center for the Arts, North Campus. Gallery hours are Wed. through Sat., 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sun. from noon to 5 p.m.

"From Revolution to Reform"

Propaganda posters produced in the People's Republic of China from 1962-82-representing efforts by both the Mao Zedong and Deng Xiaoping governments to mobilize the masses and provide role models of selfless revolutionary virtue-are on display through April 30 in the reference section of Lockwood Library, North Campus, on the library's second floor.

"Senior Thesis Exhibitions 2000"

Thesis work from 60 candidates for bachelor of fine arts degrees are being exhibited at various sites on the North Campus and in downtown Buffalo. Work will be on display in the Art Department Gallery and other locations in the Center for the Arts through May 3. Gallery hours are Tues., 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Wed. through Fri., 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sat. from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Work will be on display in the Center for Tomorrow through April 20, and April 26 through May 17. Hours are Mon. through Fri., 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Work also will be on display in the Ellicott Square Building in downtown Buffalo during regular business hours.
