Faculty is key to improving student life: FSEC speakers say increased support, involvement could make a difference
Faculty involvement is the key to improving the quality of student life at UB, several speakers, including a UB student, suggested during a discussion of student-life issues at the Sept. 10 meeting of the Faculty Senate Executive Committee.

Carol Burnett to open Speakers Series
Actress, comedienne and six-time Emmy-award winner Carol Burnett will open the 11th annual Distinguished Speakers Series at UB at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 9, in the Mainstage theater in the Center for the Arts on the North Campus.
