A story on WBFO-FM interviews Andreas Stavridis, assistant professor of civil, structural and environmental engineering, about his recent trip to Nepal, where he studied the effects of a magnitude 7.8 earthquake on structures there. “We realized the design of the buildings is not done with standards that we have in the rest of the world,” he said.
