Crossroads Culinary Center (C3) has earned Campus Dining and Shops a gold award in the 40th Annual Loyal E. Horton Dining Awards contest.

The contest, organized by the National Association of College & University Food Services (NACUFS), recognizes universities and colleges with outstanding programs in dining concepts, marketing, innovation, dining menus and nutritional value, and customer satisfaction.

UB received the top award in the large-school classification in the “Residential Dining Concepts” category for C3, its new state-of-the-art residential dining center. It was UB’s first-ever entry in the contest.

“We are extremely excited to win the gold award for large national schools and proud of our achievements, thanks to the hard work of a great staff,” says Jeff Brady, executive director for CDS. "Being recognized by our peers is truly an honor."

Campus Dining and Shops will receive the award at NACUFS’ national conference July 10-13 in Minneapolis.
