PPG student intern

Appropriate for: Graduate students in Planning (Note: graduate students in other departments who have a background in planning, or graduate students who have skill sets similar to those cultivated in Planning are also welcome to apply.)

Description of Opportunity: UB graduate students in Planning selected to serve as PPG Student Interns field a range tasks, including conducting research on Buffalo-related topics and liaising and communicating with community partners. Applicants must commit to being on site at PPG for at minimum 8 hours/week (more would be welcome) for a minimum of 15-20 weeks. Areas of research focus for the fall of 2017 include climate justice, food justice, energy democracy, public transit, language access for immigrants and refugees, welfare-to-work barriers, police reform, affordable housing, and anti-displacement strategies.
