Architecture exhibits
"Inside the Large-Small House," an exhibit by William W. Wurster sponsored by the School of Architecture and Planning, will be on display through Oct. 17 in the James Dyett Gallery, 335 Hayes Hall, South Campus. A new exhibit, Canadian Architecture, opens Oct. 22 and will run through Nov. 26. Gallery hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday.

My Dear Mr. Wright
"My Dear Mr. Wright: Manuscripts, Photographs and Architectural Drawings from the Frank Lloyd Wright-Darwin Martin Collection" is on exhibit through Oct. 31 in the University Archives, 420 Capen Hall, North Campus. Hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday; special exhibit hours 1-5 p.m. Oct. 25. Group tours are available by calling 645-2916. Peter Halley Project
"The Peter Halley Project," a series of temporary public art projects designed to engage the university community in a dialogue about contemporary art and issues, is on display in the Center for the Arts and at various sites throughout the North Campus through July 1998. An exhibition of elegant moving sculptures by American artist Lisa Hein is on display through Nov. 7 in the UB Art Gallery's second floor exhibition room in the Center for the Arts, North Campus. Gallery hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesdays, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Wednesdays-Fridays and 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturdays.

Work by Dutch artist Lara Schnitger is on exhibit through Nov. 7 in the UB Gallery, Center for the Arts, North Campus. Form and balance are addressed through transitive, very non-traditional materials - plastic, latex balloons, foam rubber. Gallery hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesdays, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Wednesdays-Fridays and 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturdays.

DCAAccount reminder
The Office of Personnel Services reminds the university community that a reliable, pre-tax benefit is available to New York State employees who pay for child care, elder care or care for a disabled spouse in order to work. The Dependent Care Advantage Account is a flexible spending account for dependent care that allows individuals to set aside up to $5,000 in pre-tax salary for dependent-care expenses. The open enrollment period runs through Nov. 21 and an informational meeting will be held at 12:30 p.m. Oct. 22 in 635 Hochstetter Hall, North Campus. Credential Files
The Office of Career Planning and Placement maintains credential files that include resumes and cover letters for students and alumni who are considering graduate school, a career change or who are entering the workforce for the first time. Files that show no activity for two years will be destroyed. Alumni may extend the life of their files for an additional two years by sending a request to the office, which is located in 265 Capen Hall, Buffalo, NY 14260.

Experimental Print Imaging workshops
The Experimental Print Imaging Center (ePIC) is offering a series of Saturday workshops on basic book arts, water- and oil-based monotype and stencil prints. Workshops begin Oct. 25. For more information, call 645-6878 ext. 1369.
