UB issued this statement today to address the racist and antisemitic flyers found on campus:

Nikole Hannah-Jones, the Pulitzer Prize-winning creator of “The 1619 Project,” will speak at UB on Feb. 16 as the 46th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Commemoration Speaker.

Faculty and staff can buy one ticket to a Department of Music concert this spring and receive one ticket free as part of a special ticket promotion on Feb. 2.

The committee leading the search for a new dean for the School of Management is holding a listening session Jan. 26 to discuss campus interests and priorities for the search.

The search for a new dean for the School of Management is underway, with the appointment of a search committee headed by Kemper E. Lewis, dean of the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.

IRS-certified accounting students from the School of Management will once again provide free tax preparation services to individuals and families with annual income below $57,000.

Starting Jan. 17, UB will require children ages 5 to 11 have proof they have been vaccinated against COVID-19 to attend public cultural events, including those in Slee Hall, the Center for the Arts and Alumni Arena.  

UB has announced the second annual UB Fast 46 competition, open to alumni and former students who own or lead businesses.

The School of Management has appointed Susan C. Steffan executive director of the Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership (CEL).
