A Chem-E Camp chaperone explains a distillation column during the week-long camp for high school juniors and seniors with an interest in chemistry, physics and math. The camp, held at the end of July, hosted 20 participants from 14 local high schools this year. Many students said the camp opened their eyes to the potential of chemical engineering as a career.
