In his latest installment of “Take 5,” President Satish K. Tripathi interviews Felisha Legette-Jack, coach of the UB women’s basketball team since 2012 and the all-time winningest coach in program history.

Legette-Jack led UB to seven straight winning seasons for the first time since the Bulls joined the Mid-American Conference in 1998. Under her leadership, the Bulls advanced to the Sweet Sixteen in 2018, the first time in school history.

During her conversation with Tripathi, Legette-Jack discusses her career; her response to the COVID-19 pandemic; the athletics department’s success in fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion; and the conversation she had with her team in the wake of the deaths of George Floyd and other black men and women at the hands of police.
