Welcome to UBNow.

We’re changing our name, but not our commitment to being the go-to source for news for the UB community.

Changing our name from UB Reporter to UBNow, which takes place at the start of the fall semester on Monday, better reflects our mission to bring faculty and staff the timely and relevant information they need to do their jobs and to enhance their experience of working at the university.

We’ll continue covering the people, events and initiatives that make UB a great institution. Our website is updated every day with new content, including stories, videos and photos. All employees receive an email every Monday, Wednesday and Friday offering a brief selection of news stories, features and other important information.

UBNow has a long history as UB’s publication for faculty and staff, starting as the weekly Reporter in 1970 and converting to a daily at the start of the spring 2016 semester.

As always, we need your help to do our job. Please send story ideas, news about UB colleagues and event information (at least two weeks before the event) to wuetcher@buffalo.edu.

Have a good read and a good semester.
