A search website is active now with information on the search process, committee, communications, and application and nomination procedures. Additional information will be posted on the site as it becomes available.

The search is seeking a successor to Michael E. Cain, who is stepping down as vice president and dean effective Aug. 31. He will assume a faculty position in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Jacobs School.

The search committee, co-chaired by Timothy Murphy, SUNY Distinguished Professor and senior associate dean for clinical and translational research, and Nancy Nielsen, senior associate dean for health policy and clinical professor of medicine, will hold its initial meeting soon.
