HI to hold grant-writing workshop

Published August 20, 2019

The UB Humanities Institute is hosting an external grant-writing workshop from noon to 3 p.m. Aug. 30 in 1032 Clemens Hall, North Campus.

The workshop is designed to help faculty members improve their external grant applications by learning strategies from an experienced grant writer and evaluator, by exchanging ideas with other grant seekers, and — if they choose to pre-circulate draft application materials — by receiving specific feedback from peers.

Speaking at the workshop will be Chitra Rajan, associate vice president for research advancement, and Cristanne Miller, SUNY Distinguished Professor and Edward H. Butler Professor of English.

Lunch will be served after the presentations.

Those interested in attending should RSVP by Aug. 28.
