PSS presents inclusion and diversity conference

“Knowing, Being, Doing: Building a Diverse and Inclusive Community at UB,” an open conversation on campus diversity, will be held June 4 on the UB North Campus.

The conference, presented by the Professional Staff Senate’s Inclusion and Diversity Committee, will take place from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Capen and Knox halls.

It will open with a panel, “Theory to Practice: Building a Diverse and Inclusive Community at UB,” then feature breakout sessions in the morning and afternoon on such topics as digital accessibility, food diversity, bystander intervention training and learning through diversity.

The program will close with a presentation on “Inclusive Excellence at the University at Buffalo” by Despina Stratigakos, vice provost for inclusive excellence.

The $15 registration fee includes lunch and admission to a staff resource fair.
