Changing the Style of a Course

The style settings control how the course appears to users. Settings include identifying the first page users see when they open the course, the appearance of the menu, and how content items appear in folders. A banner may be added to the top of the course entry page.

  1. Click Control Panel > Customization > Teaching Style.
  2. Complete page options.
  3. Click Submit.

With Edit Mode set to On, you may see a dark gray background surrounding your banner. Set Edit Mode to Off to see the student view.
