Announcements can be sent as email to students.

About Announcements

Announcements are posted and sent as email to all students unless students have opted out of email receipt. The instructor may force announcement email to students when necessary.

Creating an Announcement

  1. Control Panel select Course Tools > Announcements > Create Announcement.
  2. Complete screen options.
  3. Click Submit.

Announcements will appear in the order posted with the most recent Announcements appearing first.

To have a particular announcement stay on top of the list, drag it above the “New announcements appear below the line” bar.
