May 2016 was the last update to UBlearns. This update introduced the following new functionality, featured enhancements and service changes.
The Remark grade import tool allows bubble-sheet style exam scores, machine graded by the Center for Educational Innovation scoring services unit, to be directly imported into a UBlearns grade center.
The Microsoft Edge browser is now supported.
Users can navigate from thread to thread without having to return to the main Discussions page.
The "reply-to" header now includes the sender's full name in course announcement emails.
When creating an announcement the “No Date Restricted” is selected by default.
The Content Editor now supports HTML5 Audio and Video playback in Chrome and Edge browsers.
Blackboard will end support for the Collaboration course tool at the end of May 2016. The Virtual Classroom and Chat tools will remain available in UBlearns until May 22. Instructors may use other virtual conference tools such as UB supported Skype for Business/Lync to create and add session links to UBlearns.
