Blogs are an effective means of sharing knowledge and materials created and collected by the group with the rest of the course.

About Blogs

Users within a Course group can post to the blog and add comments to existing posts. Instructors can also offer comments and grade individual posts.

Creating Blog Posts

Users can create blog posts that can be commented upon. Instructors can use blog posts to provide structure for discussions on class topics and other issues.

  1. Click Tools on the Course menu.
  2. Click Blogs.
  3. Select a blog to open.
  4. Click Create Blog Entry.
  5. Enter a Title.
  6. Enter the text in the Entry Message text box.
  7. Click Browse My Computer to attach a file to the entry.
  8. Click Post Entry
    OR
    Click Save Entry as Draft to save the entry for later posting.

To view other blog entries, click on the “down pointing" icon underneath your name on the right hand side of the screen

Viewing Drafts

Blog Entries can be saved for later posting by clicking Save Entry as Draft. These drafts can be viewed by clicking View Drafts from the main blog page.
