If your ResNet-connected computer is infected with a trojan or
virus, it represents a security threat to the UB network. You will
receive a letter from the Security Incident Response Team, and be
required to fix the issue before reconnecting.
After the initial incident, you will have 72 hours to respond to
the notification and fix the problem. If you fail to respond within
72 hours, you will be unable to access the network until the
problem is resolved.
After multiple incidents, you may be asked to seek a
professional repair service.
