Other Headsets and Accessories for Jabber
A number of vendors have tested and certified their equipment to function properly with Cisco Jabber. These accessories include headsets, handsets, speakerphones, and webcams.
Other devices from other manufacturers may be compatible, as general PC accessories often are, however, specific functionality has not been tested. Function buttons or other features may not interact with Cisco Jabber.
A list of these devices is published by Cisco Systems.
CIT does not endorse, recommend, nor require the usage of any particular accessories. Customers may choose to purchase tested equipment from CIT, as available, via the list above.
Support is available only on tested equipment.
Other equipment may be compatible with your application or equipment - consult with your retailer or manufacturer to determine compatibility.
The CS500 series of DECT Wireless Headsets has a brief 1 - 2 second power-on delay when activated by pressing the Call Control button or lifting the headset from the base.
Some people experience this as a delay before hearing the other party in the call, but the accessory is working as designed.
If you keep the accessory active by playing music over it, or if you are frequently on a call, this may not be a problem, however, you may experience a shorter battery life.
Replacement
Headsets are considered one-time special purchase consumable items, and are not returnable nor are they covered for any warranty or repair by CIT unless they are defective.
Common Questions
How can I clean my phone equipment?
