Changing or Resetting Your UB Phone PIN

Applies to: Faculty and Staff; Student employees who have access to a campus telephone

Student employees and people using administrative accounts must contact the UBIT Help Center to reset a UB Phone PIN.

Using Self Care Portal

  1. Log into the Self Care Portal using your UBITName and UBITName password, then click Sign In.
  2. Click General Settings.
  3. Select Phone Services PIN.
  4. Enter New Phone PIN.
  5. Confirm New Phone PIN.

Using the Personal Communications Assistant (PCA)

  1. Log into the Personal Communications Assistant using your UBITName and UBITName password, then click Login.
  2. Select Messaging Assistant.
  3. Select Passwords > Change PIN.
  4. Enter New PIN.
  5. Confirm New PIN.

Change PIN Using Your Desk Phone

  1. Press the Messages button on your desk phone.
  2. Enter your PIN followed by #.
  3. Press 4 to select Setup Options.
  4. Press 3 to select Preferences.
  5. Press 1 to select Change Your PIN.
  6. Enter New PIN followed by #.
  7. Enter New PIN again followed by # to confirm.
