What's on the agenda?

The past year has seen several updates to both Zoom and Panopto. Many of these updates make bring new features to make your work easier by automating or simplifying everyday tasks like transcription.

This workshop includes updates on the following new features of Zoom and Panopto:

Zoom:

  • Advanced polling and quizzing for meetings
  • Allowing alternate hosts to add or edit polls               
  • Controlling sides shared by another participant
  • Authentication exceptions            
  • Zoom apps button
  • Focus mode        
  • LTI Improvements            
  • Requesting a live transcript                
  • Registration cap for meetings

Panopto:

  • Copies and reference copies       
  • Content retention and archiving
  • Audio description            
  • Embedded login message
