Employees with administrative access to HUB: Start using Duo and your favorite device

Learn how to start logging into HUB with your smartphone or other Duo-enrolled device instead of your RSA token.

Have you enrolled device(s) in Duo?

All UB students, faculty are now required to use Duo to log into protected UB services. If you haven’t yet, take a few minutes to enroll one or more devices now. Note: Security keys and TouchID will not work for your administrative HUB access.

Run AnyConnect and choose your new Group

In the Cisco AnyConnect VPN client, enter vpn.buffalo.edu (if necessary), and then select the appropriate Group from the drop-down:

  • 2step-AdminVPN
  • 2step-AdminVPN-Instructor
  • 2step-AdminVPN-Offcampus

Choose a Duo-enrolled device to verify with when prompted by AnyConnect

In the Answer field, enter the device number you’d like to use to verify.
