Try it out

Instructors using Top Hat will begin to see a “Try New Gradebook” button in their current Top Hat course gradebooks. Just click that button to get started.

What’s new?

  • UBlearns integration. This is a new feature available for Top Hat partner institutions like UB—follow the steps for integrating Top Hat with Blackboard, and syncing grades between Top Hat Gradbook and UBlearns is as simple as clicking the “Sync with LMS” button
  • Simpler, more customizable interface. The new grid layout makes finding and assessing data more intuitive, while simultaneously integrating new information like attendance records
  • More intuitive views for scoring. Now it’s possible to toggle between raw scores and percentages. You can also more easily see the questions that were scored, including long-answer questions
