Wireless classroom presentation, Duo two-step verification and virtual/augmented reality were on the agenda at UBIT’s annual Technology Town Hall for educators on Thursday, October 31, 2019 from 12:30-3 p.m. in Baldy 200G.

Faculty members and instructors were encouraged to join UBIT staff to share their opinions, while learning about the latest technology for teaching and research at the University at Buffalo.

12:30 – 2 p.m.: Overview presentations on latest technology for UB faculty:

  • AirMedia wireless presentation: 12:50 – 1:00 p.m.
  • Webex/Panopto: 1:00 – 1:10 p.m.  
  • UBbox: 1:10 – 1:20 p.m.  
  • Classroom Teaching Station: 1:20 – 1:30 p.m.  
  • Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality: 1:30 – 1:40 p.m.
