Your personal meeting room

Everyone at UB has their own personal Webex meeting room. The address for your room is 'https://ub.webex.com/meet/' followed by your UBITName.

Just give participants the address for your room, and they can join your meeting by typing it into their browser.

Here are some ways you can use your personal meeting room:

  • Meet with offsite colleagues
  • Host online office hours
  • Invite someone to present remotely to your class or team

Do more with Events and Trainings

Webex also includes options specifically for hosting larger online trainings and events, with features that go beyond simple meetings.

Use Webex Events for hosting large-scale events with up to 1,000 participants:

  • Webinars
  • Conferences
  • Seminars and workshops

With a Webex Event, you have advanced features for polling and tracking your audience.

For collaborative learning on a large scale (up to 1,000 people), Webex Training is the right tool:

  • Hold education workshops
  • Teach remotely
  • Train your staff

With Webex Trainings you can designate a panel of moderators, create breakout rooms and more.
