Webex is available for collaboration between UB faculty, students and staff. Getting started is easy, and no matter how much time you have or how you like to learn, there are trainings and resources available to help you.
Webex has platforms to host meetings, trainings and events. Each one has different features designed for different needs.
Webex Meetings is the most basic Webex platform, and suitable for most everyday uses like meeting with colleagues, holding online office hours etc. Webex Trainings and Events offer the ability to invite more people (up to 1,000 participants) and offer additional features like audience polling, attendance tracking, moderator panels and more.
Sending someone a meeting invite is easy, so why not log into ub.webex.com and try it with a colleague or friend? That way you'll know your audio and video settings are working correctly before your first professional meeting.
