Same games and experience

Michael Canfield joined UB in January 2023 as an IT Communications Specialist for UBIT. A former newspaper reporter with a background in higher ed communication, Michael is also a volunteer firefighter. When he’s not writing or learning about all things UBIT, Michael likes to spend time with his wife and two English bulldogs, Franky and Grace. He’s also an avid student of the Battle of Gettysburg and a (sometimes) hockey writer.

The console gaming lounge and Esports arena are both open, with all of the same games and systems you’ve come to expect.

An improved computing site in Silverman offers more space in a central campus location to accommodate student needs for coursework and studies. Students have access to the same technology in Silverman that was previously available in Lockwood, including iMacs with Adobe Creative Cloud and ultrawide monitors where you can connect your own device.
