Self-Guided Graduate Teaching Assistant Training Course

This self-guided resource, hosted in UB Learns, is designed to help TAs excel in their roles. Course content addresses a range of topics that are useful across the disciplines. Course content includes:

  • UB student resources—information about resources for you and your students.
  • Teaching online—guidance for those conducting and supporting online teaching and learning.
  • 2020 conference materials—materials from last year's conference, held on Aug. 28, 2020.
  • TA training modules—various topics specifically for TAs across the disciplines.

Instructions to Enroll in the Self-Guided Graduate Teaching Assistant Training Course

  1. Login to UB Learns.
  2. Select Courses in the left navigation bar
  3. Select Course Catalog in the top right corner
  4. In Search Catalog field, select Course “Name,” “Contains,” “Graduate Teaching Assistant Training
  5. Click gray arrow next to the Course ID and Enroll
