There are a number of resources available at UB that provide support for commonly requested video production needs.
Faculty and staff can request lecture, classroom and event recordings (either recurring or one-time events) from Network and Classroom Services.
The Center for the Arts Video Production Group is responsible for many of the higher profile video needs of the university including special events and university recruitment. They work closely with the Division of University Communications to ensure that materials meet UB guidelines and provide a consistent university message.
UB Information Technology provides video conferencing services at several locations on campus.
UB faculty, staff and students can conduct virtual conferences,
make audio and video calls, and hold online meetings using the
Microsoft communication tool, Lync.
To help maintain a consistent the UB brand, the Division of University Communication provides a comprehensive gallery of images, logos, fonts and colors that you can use when creating your own materials.
The MCS Multimedia Creation Lab is a UB Libraries pilot
project that provides students and faculty access to a variety of
production equipment and software in order to produce their own
multimedia projects. The lab is located in Abbott Hall/Health
Sciences Library, South Campus.
