This session will share research findings from the nationally-recognized SUNY Tools of Engagement Project (TOEP). TOEP is a successful five-year SUNY-wide online professional development model which has recently transformed into a MOOC targeting all learners.

We will share qualitative and quantitative data which has been collected and analyzed to gain an understanding about the experiences of TOEP participants. We will highlight how participant's understanding about the effective pedagogical uses of emerging technologies evolved through their participation in the project.

A brief overview of the "Exploring Emerging Technologies for Lifelong Learning and Success" (#EmTechMOOC), which has evolved from the TOEP project will also be shared.
