From 2016-18, UB EXCITE (University at Buffalo Excellence in Course Instruction Through Enquiry) was CEI's initiative to promote innovation in teaching and learning at UB.

Findings from UB EXCITE have been used to develop CEI's Teaching Mentorship micro-credential, currently scheduled to launch in fall 2019.

The curriculum developed as part of the UB EXCITE program has been used as the foundation for our new Core Curriculum for Faculty Development, which includes our series of CEI Faculty Academies.

This approach allows us to maximize our efforts to reach a greater number of faculty and transform UB teaching on a larger scale.
