Building UB: Our Physical Plan

South Campus

Capital projects on our South Campus are transforming UB's original, historic buildings into modern teaching and learning centers, while preserving our architectural heritage. Implementation of the UB 2020 plan also is bringing together key UB schools to enhance interdisciplinary research, and offering public space and engagement opportunities to individuals, families and businesses in the neighborhoods we share.

Major renovations in Farber Hall will meet immediate and pressing needs for high quality research space in the health sciences.
This historic gathering space has been totally re-landscaped to be a more beautiful and more sustainable place on South Campus.
Extensive interior and exterior renovations will give the School of Public Health and Health Professions a modern, consolidated home base.
The School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences has a state-of-the-art new home after the renovation of a former chemistry building.
The South Campus child care center has been fully renovated, improving and expanding services to children of UB personnel.
The School of Nursing has made a new home in a refurbished Wende Hall with additional space next door in Beck Hall.
