Project director joins UB TCIE staff

The University at Buffalo (UB) Center for Industrial Effectiveness (TCIE) announces the appointment of Jennifer Flagg as project director.

Flagg will manage various projects for TCIE, concentrating in massive open online courses (MOOCs) by leading efforts to design, develop and produce digital curriculum. Other duties include grant writing and program management.

Flagg has 20 years of experience in project management, grant writing, entrepreneurial guidance, data collection and analysis, and cross-functional team leadership. She is co-principal investigator/project director for UB’s Center on Knowledge Translation for Technology Transfer, where she specializes in the commercialization of medical and assistive technology devices. She serves as editor-in-chief of Assistive Technology Outcomes and Benefits, the Assistive Technology Industry Association’s annual journal of peer-reviewed papers, and is a published author in technology transfer and assistive technology. Previously, she was director of the non-profit market research organization AZtech, Inc.

Flagg is an advisory board member of UB’s RERC on Universal Design and the Built Environment. She was a founding member of the Buffalo Niagara chapter of the Product Development and Management Association (PDMA).    

Flagg graduated from UB with a master’s degree in business administration, as well as a bachelor of science in business administration with a concentration in marketing.
