An article on Space.com about a tiny air leak on a Soyuz capsule docked to the International Space Station that astronauts spent part of their day fixing on Aug. 30 interviews John Crassidis, professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering, who said a leak on the space station could come from a seal or valve failing.
"These leaks have been very small and tiny, and that's the problem — because they're so small and tiny, it's difficult to figure out what happened," he said.
