ACT® WorkKeys® Assessments

Employees are a company’s greatest asset. Examining possible causes of the high turnover rate for one specific job, or asking why a capable worker struggles after receiving a promotion, can help attract, develop and retain a more competent workforce. WorkKeys® assessments from the national ACT program, offered through our center, lay the foundation for addressing issues such as these.

We offer four WorkKeys cognitive assessments to analyze whether an individual is qualified for a job:

  • Applied Math: critical thinking, mathematical reasoning, and problem solving techniques for the workplace
  • Graphic Literacy: the skill needed to locate, synthesize and use information from workplace graphics
  • Workplace Documents: measures the skills used when reading and using written text such as memos and letters
  • Workplace Observation: measures the ability to understand and apply information acquired through observation

Assessments may also be requested by individuals who are interested in qualifying their attributes in any or all of the assessment areas. Candidates who score a Bronze level or better in Applied Math, Graphic Literacy, and Workplace Documents tests earn one of the nation’s most recognized portable work readiness credentials, the ACT WorkKeys National Career Readiness Certificate™.
