UB Kind: Baird Point Film Festival

Have your voices heard while highlighting your community's experience! Showcase your filmmaking abilities by entering the Baird Point Social Justice Film Festival and shine a critical light on a social justice issue.

What will you add to the conversation?

The Baird Point Social Justice Film Festival provides UB students a platform for expression, empowerment, and creativity to spotlight a social justice issue or experience they have a passion to explore. Offered by Student Engagement, the festival showcases student-submitted films surrounding the growth, learning, and diverse experiences that take place outside of the classroom and in the community through service work, critical reflection, and film-making.

Submissions Open Until March 7!

Submissions will be reviewed and accepted on a rolling basis until Tuesday, March 7 at 11:59 p.m. Accepted submissions will be notified via email and all filmmakers, friends, classmates, and UB community members are invited to attend the festival on Friday, April 14 at 7 pm.
