Naloxone Rescue Training

NYS Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) will be coming to campus on Wednesday, October 2 to provide a training on how to administer naloxone nasal spray. 

Did you know that opioid emergencies can happen anytime, anywhere or that most opioid emergencies happen at home and in front of a loved one, and around 91% of opioid related deaths were found to be accidental? Come to a free training provided by NYS Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS).

This training teaches people:

  • What opioids are and how they work
  • How to recognize and respond to an overdose
  • How to obtain and use naloxone

You do not need any training or previous medical knowledge to attend and there is no age requirement.
