Veteran Services hosted a special cord ceremony for student veterans ahead of the 2023 university commencement.

2023 Veteran Services Ceremony

On Thursday, April 27, veteran and military-connected students gathered with family, friends and the UB community to recognize their achievements ahead of the 2023 commencement season. Each graduate was given a red, white and blue honor cord for their service, to be worn at their academic commencement ceremony.

The ceremony honored graduating student veterans, including reservists, members of the National Guard, ROTC, and newly commissioned officers.
