Alternative Break programs let you volunteer, perform community service, and have unique learning opportunities during your winter or spring break. Student Engagement is excited to offer Alternative Break Trips focusing on the following social justice issues during the 2024 programs:

  • Poverty Alleviation
  • Civic Engagement
  • Policing & Prison Reform
  • Refugee Resettlement

Apply before it's too late!

Applications for our Alternative Break programs will include demographic information (name, email, etc.) and a question and answer section to better understand your motivation to attend an alternative break. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and students who are selected to move forward in the process will be invited to schedule an interview with Alternative Break Team Leaders and staff!
