Join other first-year students in an immersive community service program before classes start.
Ready... Set... Buffalo! participants complete community service at local nonprofit agencies and explore Buffalo through sightseeing activities. Participants will also have the opportunity to develop relationships with their service-oriented peers, Student Engagement staff and members of the Buffalo community, all before the first day of classes!

2. Once your application is reviewed, you will receive an email from Hannah DeGraff to set up a short interview so we can get to know you better!
3. Offers to join Ready...Set...Buffalo! will go out on Monday, July 27. Student must accept or decline their offer by 12 p.m. on Friday, July 31.
The 2020 Ready… Set… Buffalo! program will include both virtual and in-person experiences. Aspects of the program such as service projects, social activities and some meals, will be conducted in-person following all CDC and local health department safety guidelines. Components of the program that can be delivered virtually, such as the daily reflections, will be held over web conferencing platforms. More detailed information about housing, transportation, service projects and social activities will be distributed in August.
