To support physical distancing, the Health Promotion Suite will be closed to walk-ins. Here's how you can still access many of the services we provide.
To help maintain physical distancing, Health Promotion will not be opening the Relaxation Suite to students this fall. Appointments with our dietitian, smoking cessation specialist, alcohol and other drug harm specialist, and wellness coaches will still be available, but via phone or web conferencing platform.
If you need sexual health resources this fall, there are other options. Emergency contraception, pregnancy tests, and condoms can be purchased at most area pharmacies, including the CVS in The Commons on North Campus. Pregnancy tests can be administered for free by a health care provider at Health Services. Emergency contraception can also be purchased at a reduced cost from the Pharmacy at Health Services on South Campus. You can also request free condom orders online through the UB Covered program.
If you're looking for a way to relax and find a community with other students, we will be hosting many of the same programs and workshops as we have in previous semesters, but delivered in an online format. We will also be hosting many new online workshops to encourage you to stay connected this fall. Check out our Events Calendar for details.
If you need to contact our office, you can call or send us an email.
We hope you have a safe and enjoyable semester!
We will be delivering many of the same programs and services remotely for Fall 2020.
