Get Around

You can walk or bike around campus, use our free buses and shuttles, or bring your own car to get around — even if you’re a freshman. The Parking and Transportation website has all the information you need about getting around campus.

Transportation Options

Getting around campus and between campuses is fast, easy and free. UB buses and shuttles let you park once on any campus and then use university transportation throughout your day.
Walking is good exercise, great for the environment, and it’s free. Plus, you can walk almost anywhere on campus in less than 10 minutes.
If you drive a car or motorcycle, make sure you know the rules for driving and parking — including permits.
It’s easy to bike on campus, with free bike registration, winter storage and bike racks on UB Stampede buses. You'll save money on gas — and save time parking.
The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA) offers public transportation throughout the Buffalo-Niagara region, including stops on campus.
It’s Easy to Find Your Bus

• Check the sign at the bus stop

• Read the directional sign on the front or side of the bus

• Ask the friendly bus driver
