Winter Bicycle Storage Available

Bicycles left outside in the snow.

Published November 15, 2018

Store your bicycle over the winter and keep it safe and road-ready for spring. This is a free service provided by Parking and Transportation Services.

How Bicycle Storage Works

  • Drop-off: bring your bicycle to the Parking and Transportation Services office at 106 Spaulding during regular business hours beginning Monday, November 19. We’ll check it in and give your bike a unique tag that corresponds with your UB ID.
  • Pick-up: when you’re ready to ride, come back to 106 Spaulding and claim your bike. You can claim your bike with your UB ID and check in tag. It’s that easy.
  • Bike Health: Parking and Transportation Services will schedule a bike tune-up event during the spring semester to oil chains, check brakes and perform routine maintenance on your bicycle. If you retreive your bike before the last days of pick-up, bring it back to make sure it’s safe and road-ready.
  • Share: tell a student, friend or colleague about these no cost bike services provided by UB Parking and Transportation Services!
